I believe we still had Ben up until last year. He spent about 3 years on the Bulls/Cavs before coming back.
We had Rip Hamilton up until last season and of course, we still have Tayshaun.
I always thought it was ridiculous that we still had the same cats from the championship teams. Holding on to people that won rings is nice and all but
A lot of people see Joe D. as someone who tries to make the "clever" draft pick. It's like, he purposely goes after "sleepers" in the draft or avoids making big splashes in free agency/trades b/c Joe knows best.
Personally, I wish we would've gotten rid of Tayshaun a WHILE ago. I was hoping for players but at this point, give me picks. fukk it. I still remember when we were just stacked w/ random combo guards.

You cant stay on top forever..once Wade, Bron, Celtics and 'em got better they began to fall off..shiit happens..The Pistons were trash for more 10 years until those mid 2000 teams were put together.
