Dude you got the process all wrong. You work hard for these fools, pick their brain and get all the knowledge you can, stack your bread, then start your own business using their knowledge/business practices and add your own twist.

Exactly, and dont forget make a ton of connections, having a rolodex of important people goes a long ways ;)

Which is why my dream is to run my own business. Yes. 9 out of every 10 businesses fail within 5 years. And out of the 1 that succeeds, 9 of those 10 businesses fail within 10 years. But guess what....until I die, I'mma keep trying until something works. I work for cacs now. Every moment off clock is spent working on my shyt so one day I won't have to. That's nikkas problem. Fukk a corporate ladder. Fukk getting to the top of the company. Make your own ladder. And when I do, guess who's not invited to climb it :sas1:

Exactly. Take instruction manuals, write notes see how they operate and what they lack.

Then start your own. Blacks lived on property and in the house and were able to outsmart whitey by using secrets messages in hymns and quilts.

Why wouldn't we do the same in the office except using it to build a better business?

That's just one path. What if I want a VP gig at my company or any large company? I have to start a business in order to do that? This is the flaw. Yes, it's good to say "Go out there and start a business". That still doesn't address the problem. Why must I start a business when Chadwick can sit back and move up the ranks?

The Black Community
and nothing but nikkaz that look like this:

ken-ross-expertceo-ceo-and-founder.jpg

All middle aged white men with a token white woman.

Many companies look like this. Where do yall (black people) get the motivation to bust your ass every day knowing there's a 99% chance that you will not get to the highest point? This is what Canada looks like. You got no shot at a VP position if you're black. It's damn near impossible.

Then you have bosses keeping you down cuz they feel you should be happy with the evel you're at being "black" and all.

I can't remember the last time I had either worked for or with a company that had a black VP of anything.

:scust:
Might be the most obvious.com post in the history of the coli and that's saying SOMETHING.

:stopitslime:...

A stationary secretary vs an "innocent" janitor who literally gets paid to clean and small talk his way throughout every department of a corporate office...

Does the janitor sit in meetings too, breh? :troll:

:russ: You know a CEO's secretary see's and knows every move the CEO makes right?

And when all the secretaries get together for that chit chat

Unfortunately that's just the way the world is :manny:
You can't force all these VP's and CEO's to do something deep in their gut they don't want to do.

We get our infrastructure in place then hopefully our kids and grandkids have the same luxury as Chadwick one day.
