eh even liek 10-15 years ago there was doug flutie, mcnair, rich gannon, mcnabb, kordell stewart, jeff garcia, culpepper
Kaep, wilson, rg3, cam, pryor and ponder (who u forgot) got into the league in last two years. Flacco and romo arent mobile, stop it.
These last few years there was a definite influx of mobile qbs who can run well, and espn has nothing to do with it
romo isnt a statue like warner or brady now, but I wouldnt call him mobile
Romo is a mobile QB, he isn't a dual threat tho.
being mobile and being a running QB are two different things.
Steve Young, Steve McNair
Steve McNair wasn't a running QB. He could run like Aaron Rodger do, but he wasn't a running QB.
Why are you letting ESPN dictate your opinion? The league has often checked for mobile qb's, a good number of the starters are mobile.
49'ers: Kaepernick; SeaHawks: Russell Wilson, Packers: Rodgers, Bucs: Freeman, Panthers: Cam, Cowboys: Romo, Eagles: Vick, Skins: RG3, Steelers: Ben, Ravens: Flacco, Raiders: Pryor.
Over 1/3 of the starting qb's are mobile. If by "running qb" you mean black, then yeah more brothers are getting chances at starting.

I know the difference...
Steve McNair was one of the greatest running college QB's of his time.
Donovan McNabb was too.
They just toned it down over the course of their NFL careers.

I won't say it's just a trend, but running QBs won't take over the league.
