Now its: every team will want a QB like this in the future. Pocket passers are a dying breed. Like Warren Moon and Randall Cunningham and Donovan ain't never do what these new cats did. But you couldn't win with them :skip: All those cats could throw and run but they act like they never happened.
This thread ain't really nothing but a random thought. Y'all ain't gotta say nothin.
:salute: to the OGs.

Why are you letting ESPN dictate your opinion? The league has often checked for mobile qb's, a good number of the starters are mobile.

49'ers: Kaepernick; SeaHawks: Russell Wilson, Packers: Rodgers, Bucs: Freeman, Panthers: Cam, Cowboys: Romo, Eagles: Vick, Skins: RG3, Steelers: Ben, Ravens: Flacco, Raiders: Pryor.

Over 1/3 of the starting qb's are mobile. If by "running qb" you mean black, then yeah more brothers are getting chances at starting.

TYRONE GA!
I just love how the clowns in the media just cuban B the white mobile/running QBs. There's a reason A Gawd, Big Rape, are also good franchise QBs.

i've ALWAYS said this... then i went to check the stats.. we're wrong.. every black qb on that list is all on the top in rushing yards.. even vick with how much he was injured. the first white qb on the list is Jake Locker with 291.

every black or "running" qb with the exception of freeman, has rushed for over 300.. well only vick has.. kaep with his few starts and not counting the playoffs is barely over 400. RG3 is at the top with 800 something

so while they do move around and can use their legs, seems they still are running a hell of a lot less.. and most of them don't have plays designed to run, they just happen to scramble and run.

Kaep, wilson, rg3, cam, pryor and ponder (who u forgot) got into the league in last two years. Flacco and romo arent mobile, stop it.

These last few years there was a definite influx of mobile qbs who can run well, and espn has nothing to do with it
