I don't see how he's a reach at #21 either, and he certainly wasn't going to last until #53. If you're looking for a receiver at that spot (and the Eagles weren't a position to choose anything else) your best choices were: Jalen Reagor, Brandon Aiyuk, Denzel Mims, Justin Jefferson, Tee Higgins. And Reagor's right on the same level as all of those guys as a prospect, so I'm certainly not mad at the pick.If yall wanted speed you got it
Game speed
Ruggs 21.98 MPH
Reagor 20.80 MPH
Jalen is the second fastest guy in the draft...most fans and radio host dont know shyt....he isnt a bad pick
I think, at worst, Reagor is a Will Fuller/DeSean Jackson type Z-receiver. Not the WR1 the Eagles desperately need, but an effective deep threat who opens up the field for everyone else. And as we've all seen how valuable that is when we lost Mike Wallace and DJax. And for a QB with a big arm who is always trying to make huge plays down the field, it's the kind of receiver who matches his skill set the most.
The Eagles needed speed. They got it.
