If yall wanted speed you got it

Game speed

Ruggs 21.98 MPH
Reagor 20.80 MPH

Jalen is the second fastest guy in the draft...most fans and radio host dont know shyt....he isnt a bad pick
I don't see how he's a reach at #21 either, and he certainly wasn't going to last until #53. If you're looking for a receiver at that spot (and the Eagles weren't a position to choose anything else) your best choices were: Jalen Reagor, Brandon Aiyuk, Denzel Mims, Justin Jefferson, Tee Higgins. And Reagor's right on the same level as all of those guys as a prospect, so I'm certainly not mad at the pick.

I think, at worst, Reagor is a Will Fuller/DeSean Jackson type Z-receiver. Not the WR1 the Eagles desperately need, but an effective deep threat who opens up the field for everyone else. And as we've all seen how valuable that is when we lost Mike Wallace and DJax. And for a QB with a big arm who is always trying to make huge plays down the field, it's the kind of receiver who matches his skill set the most.

The Eagles needed speed. They got it. :yeshrug:

Feeling better about the pick after reading some of the positive spin in here.
Eagles recent history of drafting WR ain't been good tho , maybe this kid can break the curse
What else are Eagles fans going to say? At the end of the day, this is a spread 5'11 WR who doesn't have true burner speed, has questionable hands for an elite prospect and didn't run NFL routes in college.

How do you think this is going to end up? Ask Browns fans how Corey Coleman ended up who had the exact same question marks.

Those kind of players should not be drafted in the first round.

Well, the day after i feel a bit better about the pick. Still wished we traded back with the chargers for that 37th and 71st pick that New England got.

But Raegor, looks like a slightly shorter Agholor coming out of USC to me but here is to him not being a mental midget like Nelly was at times here tho.

I think he can do some damage but I think they reached still for him and didnt draft the best player available. If u gonna reach, u might as well trade back but hell, who knows wats on Howie and Doug's draft board.

I still think they reached for a player who may have been passed in the first round and didnt take the best player available which was one of the two remaining linebackers and we desperately need an anchor there.

If they dont select a line backer in day 2, im thinking they bringing Nigel Bradham back.

I dont think Jalen gets out the first round...I am willing to bet the Vikings would have drafted him. I am sure they are happy with Jefferson but if the Eagles like Jalen they couldn't take that chance...there is also the chance that SF would have drafted him as well. I do think Jalen is a very slight reach bc I had him at the end of the 1st or top of the 2nd. Problem is- the eagles made it clear they want a speedy WR- if they didnt get him- they would put all their eggs in Hamler-

I hear 53 will either be a CB, S or LB- im personally rooting for Chinn at 53- I cant imagine Delpit or Mckinney falling to 53- The only LB I really like is Logan Wilson- who shot up the draft boards- he probably wont last to the 3rd round

Wish we would've got Lamb, but the cost to trade up is probably what we gave up to get Darius Slay.

I doubt we double dip in 2nd round for Mims or Pittman Jr, we gotta solve our LB issues and grab a CB/S tonight.

doesn't have true burner speed? Are you serious?

don't let that combine 40 fool you, he has sub 4.4 speed

we needed a receiver to stretch the field, and we got it

Sanders, Goedert & Ertz will eat with him & Jaccpot

I've kinda felt the same way watching his tape. His size has me concerned about durability, but i think he's solid for what was available at the time.

But i also didnt want Lamb so :yeshrug:

After getting some rest and reviewing more footage I’m coo with this pick

a true outside guy with great game speed not crazy about it but I’ll wait and see how it pans out ...maybe we can also make a splash in a trade like getting AJ Green

Where are yall getting all these Agholor comparisons? Raegor is a totally different WR and they win in different ways.

If Nelson didn't beat his defender with route running or finding a hole in the zone, then we were shyt out of luck. He wasn't going to track the deep ball or make a contested catch.

Raegor is fine as our outside WR DJax & replacement.

I don't care what you think. He's not a sub 4.4 guy. Sub 4.4 guys run sub 4.4 ... period. He may have good short area burst and that's what's throwing you off, but the end of the day the guy is still 5'11 and hasn't shown he can run elite routes. He's pretty much the exact opposite of Agholor lol.

Good luck with that but that's a huge gamble. You don't draft short #2 WRs in the first round. Save that for second round. Why are y'all even arguing this?

If y'all saw the Eagles play last season, our biggest weakness on O was not being able to stretch the field...guess what, problem solved

he gets to learn under Desean, he will contribute on special teams, he will stretch the field...it's a perfectly fine pick

Jefferson is a slot receiver, we couldn't waste a first on a slot

yup, which is why i was cringing at the thought of JJ or Higgins. i still rather us trade a 3rd to move up with ATL to get lamb but reagors speed along side jackson should definitely open things up for everybody in the offense. i was more angry at us not moving up and the cowboys getting lamb than the actual pick.

Imagine a Browns fan shytting on a team 3 years off its first superbowl win:mjlol:. Which resulted from that Wentz trade.
