thats true to a certain extent, we still need a guy on the outside that can run a curl on 3 and 8 and catch the ball knowing that the corner bout to blow his back out :dame:

we see the game similarly

I will admit I am probably higher on Ward than some...I followed him a lil in Houston and hoped we would get him and transition him to WR...I think he can do that and more as a slot...I think if he bulked up...just a lil- he would be just fine

I liked barqoos tape too. I remember you saying he got ate up at the senior bowl i think though

I like Lamar Jackson and the 2 local kids, Dane Jackson and Harrison Hand. I think they're all still out there

nah- I dont remember saying anything about Luc...he is new to my radar. Dane interests me bc I think Pitt has good coaching

i appreciate the focus on speed but i'd still like to know who we are throwing to in the redzone. it'll be double coverage on ertz and then who is getting the ball? i dont want to see carson trying to throw slants on the five yard line to get batted down.

we will see. im not impressed overall
We were #8 in red zone efficiency last year (scoring TDs once we reached). Wentz's decision making and the OL get to shine down there.

Like @NYSTATEOFMIND said, the issue was getting down there. Asking your offense to string together 10-15+ play drives time after time is exhausting, and that was our only option with the lack of speed once Jaccpot got hurt. Reagor, Goodwin, and Hightower change that on paper.

We drafted a developmental DE (Shareef Miller) last season...if anything we need a run stuffing DE

And hopefully Sweat will turn into an 8 to 10 sack pass rusher this season

Shareef was a wasted pick- I hated it then and i hate it now....that kid from NDSU has more upside to me- I was and still am very high on Sweat

Nah, they felt like the value was too good to pass up and Hurts is gonna be an A1 chip. It's 100% a Howie/Lurie heat check trying to be smarter than everyone else.

It's either gonna look like a genius move if he gets flipped for a haul or be an embarrassing waste of an asset. There's no inbetween.

The league wants to expand the number of games played to 18

Eventually.. it might make sense if you have Jalen start one of these extra games to give Carson a break from taking too many snaps since they think he's made of glass

Two tight end sets with Jalen hurts

It's not a bad idea

Has to be JJAW, Goedert & Ertz
ertz will be doubled. he is our only real threat. goedert is fine i suppose, he made some plays but i remember some drops as well. jjaw barely saw the field before, now even less, we are going to depend on him come off the bench to put 6 on the board :francis:
Goedert
JJ / Alshon
They will likely draft or bring in a 3rd TE

We gotta get to the redzone first
see above

and alshon is hurt / howie hates him and is trying to get rid of him

depending on 3rd string TE for redzone production :francis:

our only receivers over 6th feet are hurt or bench riders...

true, reagor is fine if he is a djax replacement, but if anything i would have got an alshon replacement first IE lamb

and yes we see it similarly, i knew there was a reason you were one of the smartest in here :troll:

JJAW will improve...he improved at the end of last season

His prob was the adjustment to the league bc he didn't have a full offseason

We need him to be a 60-800-6 player this season as the X receiver
