I don't remember him saying he was gonna work a "smarter style" upon return.. That's what Steve Austin assumed. He thought he could come back at the right capacity..didn't know he was gonna be limited. Nobody it was universally loved
So loved nobody gives a damn about him lying about being hurt, lying to everyone about injuries so he can be pushed and out himself and others in harms way
So loved people think wwe didn't want him to be champ or featured as if he wasn't touted to be on par with john cena in their eyes
