TNT did it with SouthLand, hopefully in the future this becomes the new trend, but that's not going to happen until people stop watching "reality" TV, they are cheap to produce and people eat it all up. so why spend money on actors, writers ,directors, sets etc, when u can just have some cameras following some Whores, Rappers,Rednecks, etc around.

Damn they don't give these shows enough time to build up a following and a core audience. Just like the show Missing with Ashley Judd. That was a pretty good show and didn't get a chance either.

Dope ass show too, and the way season one ended was dope. Hit almost had a prison break vibe to it.
