Robin looked SUPERIOR to every bytch in that movie including Halle. I bet Tisha Cambell felt like shyt being way at the bottom of Eddie's chicks.
That was prime Robin Givens in this movie despite the hair hat. Her body was flawless and chisled, her character was respected/powerful/professional and her face was that of a legit dime. All the Tyson shyt became irrelevant when Boomerang came out and behind Eddie, Robin was getting too billing on that movie.
Martin/Tisha weren't big, David Allen Grier was doofy and pre-In Living Color, Eartha was basically Red Foxx status from Harlem Knights (but obviously sexy for an old ass lady), and Grace Jones' character was a caricature of her real life self. Halle was still on her cute Strictly Business shyt and Chris Rock still looked like Pookie
It was understandable why ANYONE would pick Robin over Halle because you had Robin going toe to toe with chicks of that time like Salli Richardson and Naomi Campbell, who were top tier bytches of that time.
Goddamn that movie had so much star power and black excellence. People don't give Eddie the credit he deserves for really using his platform to help enhance the careers of fellow black actors and also portraying us in an elegant, intelligent, regal, and non-c00nish way. Harlem Nights, Coming To America, The Distinguished Gentleman, Boomerang, even his portrayal of the Pharaoh in Michael Jackson's remember the times. Eddie RODE for black excellence man....
