movie looks like it has jack shyt to do with the books.

The books has the outbreak stage (the thought of the zombies walking across the floor of the ocean fukked me up), humanity's desperate Desperate DESPERATE fight for survival, and the rebuilding+restructuring of society stage....

all told by the people who lived through it. From all walks of life. Rich people, poor people, children stranded in the woods, soldiers, folks from other countries, etc. etc... from rap moguls (cant tell me that wasn't PDiddy lmao) to hikimori.

it's very thought out and well done.

Movie looks like humanity's gonna lose and then they'll find a cure or stop it at the last minute. Hugs all around. Credits roll. The End.

Don't forget that Brad Pitt will find a way to save his wife even though the world is crumbling around him. There will be one scene where the phone cuts out and all hope is lost.


Oh, and nobody will believe Pitt when he first reports on the outbreak, all the military officials in the world will be like "Nah, this aint no biggie" while Pitt tries to convince them what's about to go down.

Looks like typical formulaic garbage.
