Been saying this those who know know ...

It’s like those movies where the character is wholesome in public but demonic in real life

Puff has a very short temper and has been linked to many altercations including drake Steve stoute positive k last one being his son’s coach but he never brags about it

Puff had/has real real street dudes on his team during that time he had Wolf

Don’t laugh but puff more Gangsta than 50 and 50 knows that’s why he stays antognizing puff but can never touch him ...in the breakfast club interview Envy said y’all cut from the same cloth ... puffys whole demeanor changed “ no we are not we are not cut from the same cloth”

Sleep if u want but puff is a real G with a crazy war chest
why did he beat his feet wen suge was there at the soul train music awards 96 why he hire sscc in l.a puffy 1 on 1 was scared to death ov suge stop that n yes puffy had as many goons if not more then suge back then but just puffy by himself vs suge everyone said he was legitimately scared and stop it 50 would knock puffys ass out ... puffy has a short temper and knows who to loose his temper on ... let puffy himself try to loose his temper on 50 or maino etc and see what happpens to him .... I will give credit to puffy during the east vs west he deffo to some degree played it much better then pac and suge with them been all loud and boostful ... pac n suge were a disaster waiting to happen ....

Ok I think its not. I think making millions of dollars while being attacked is.
I think having soldiers all over the us working for you is. I think creating power and using it to become even more powerfull is. Suge and Puff were at it. And Puff won .

To me thats gangsta .

What pac did was not visionairy or brilliant corleone style . It was crazy hearted and a little stupid.

The courage of a soldier is just that sometimes......Pac was more soldier than he was "gangsta"

He never brought it to Puff? he ordered the assassination of his biggest artist:gucci:
Yeah as far as puffy been gangster this is true am pretty sure as soon as biggie died he knew exactly which direction them bullets came from and he didn’t respond 1 bit even when suge got out prison in 2001 if he was gangster suge would have been put in the ground behind that ... I know I bash suge a lot for his boneheaded decisions in life but at least his nikkas tryed to get some kind ov street-justice for pac even if it did fail with the mob vs sscc it’s not like his crew just didn’t respond at all

In NYC during all of the 90s street stuff that was happening unrelated to East-West beef, Puff was that dude that these old and young nyc G’s wanted to connect with.

It goes back in Harlem history book and street myths, Puff’ father Melvin Combs was bigger than Nicki Barnes and on a Frank Lucas type level. After Melvin passed the generation of Gs respected his son Puff who got into music in the late 80s and 90s.

Puff went to high school and was raised with cats that are connected to the mafia. Nobody knew this until later when the FBI was following Puff around in 96-97. Hence the squeaky clean image portrayed in the media. The “All this east and west need to stop, i’m a positive black man trying to make music to bring us together” was all smoke and mirrors. Puff had close ties with MTV every interview in 97-99 portrayed this light voiced business man that loves god. He used religion to deflect the image and convo.

Meanwhile in the mid 90s, he had Zip, Wolf, Riz and his secrurity was being run by people that linked to BMF in the 2000s. He had people like King Tut, Haitian Jack hanging out the offices being cool and even Jimmy Henchment was like Puffs understudy. From Lil Shawn to all these street cats all respected Puff and none of them would go agasint him. They all wanted to be seen good in his eyes.

The Shyne incident is definitely where Puff got caught crossing that line. Scar and Puff both had contracts out on each other in the streets. The difference now is one is still alive and one is not.

Is Puff a G? He’s not gangbanging, but he’s respected by everyone in hiphop and he’s respected by all the street crews associated with those artists from east to west.

He’s got an untouchable type mob boss shot caller type image repping NYC, and no matter how he tried to stay away from his fathers lifrstyle, it’s like he lives on through his name in the same vein but modern era OG.

Nobody is untouchable, but I understand where you coming from...

I respect Puff's hustle. He's a visionary, and his will to win is what helped make him legendary. Explain Puff's come up to me. I'm not from NY and I heard about his dad and that he always had real hitters with him. Was Puff involved in drugs too? I know he went to college, what did he go to school for and how did he get his foot into the industry? I don't know all that much about him...
