I only skimmed the thread:
-Where are you going to live now that you've sold your house?
-How much money do you make each year? you mentioned 100k in your savings
-Why not rent out the house instead of selling it?

I'm about to take over someone's lease at the National Harbor for like 3/4 the price. I'm always scheming for deals, it takes patience to be this cheap :win:

I make mid 90s base, 10% shift differential, plus overtime.

Question number 3 is why I'm ahead of most in this money game. Profit from renting isn't as great as most think, it's a headache (maintenance, bad tenants)
just not worth it to me.

Another thing, you have to know when to cash out. I can always buy a house to rent out, but you can't always have 62k to sit on. Anytime you can walk about with 50, 100, 200k, you do it. Don't continue to gamble, the market could crash.

Another thing, become a USAA member folk. They sending me a check for 1250$ for letting them pick my real estate agent.

Goddamnit brehs we've been over this. Interest rates are ridiculously low. There's no point in buying a car cash right now.
His car is nearly 10 years old though (based on what he said last time).

Personally I love having renters. I've thought about selling my rental, but it's free money and I save a shyt-ton in taxes from writing everything off. Plus if I stick it out for the long haul, I'll have had someone else pay off my liability completely. Granted, I haven't had bad tenants yet so knock on wood.
