I heard its limited to what the external drives can do. I have the firestick which i really like but I have tons of movies that i want to direct access to rather than having to switch devices.

I don't have the stick, I have the 2gb box, it can read every movie file on my PC (653gb) with XBMC and it's setup for SMB sharing.

I'm able to get 20 channels and I live in woodbridge with a cheap antenna

Even get the cw hd :heh:

Closer you are to the cn towrr more you can get

Any specific one you can recommend? Or should any cheapo one do? Gonna pick up today since you just reminded me that I didnt lol.

This is what I have, but I got it off eBay for 12 bucks

I get global, ctv, city tv, the cw, bounce, yes, omni, CBC, tvo, ABC, NBC, CBS, fox buffalo versions no cdn commercials and some other channels .

You can spend more and get one of those high tech 50 dollar ones that can go outside etc. But I'm cheap just really only watch the odd local news Android box is feeding me tobwell

Depends what you watch. I just use it for the Food Network and USA Network and I haven't experienced any buffering
