The 24K for a 10 year old car with 150K miles is an issue but make no mistake Lexus’ are great cars mechanical wise.24k for a 10 year old suv from a brand that is known for constant issues
Lexus LX and the Toyota Land Rovers don't die and the value holds extremely strong which is hmwhy he spent that much. Brah could probably drive the wipe to 500k with no major issues. Truck with rust out before the engine dies.

It's 10 years old. 150k miles, paid 24k. Put 5k down. Trying to have it paid off in a year, to avoid the interest. I was going to trade my Maxima in for a Lexus LS500. But test drove this beast and fell in love with it. I've never had a truck and i've always wanted a land cruiser, since back whenCash Money and No Limit were rapper about Land Cruisers. And the reliability.
Pros:
Drives like a dream. So smooth.
Just a Beast, almost 400hp
Just capable, hills, curves, offroad, i can tow up to 700lbs
Now I used what it means to feel in command of the road.
Mark Levinson sound systems isn't as clear as Bose, but bangs harder.
Love the split tailgate and power outlet in the rear. Just was chilling eating at the crib.
Cons:
Horrible on Gas (not as bad as I thought tho) Drove from DC to Louisiana and back over the weekend (2500 miles) $450.
Not as many compartments and storage as I would like.

I like the look of those but I prefer bigger cars and V6. The LS is built just like the Avalon
I would hope it’s paid off since it was probably wasnt worth anything back then. Those are some of the hardest depreciating SUVs on the planet. OP’s truck is still worth $25k with 150k miles. How much is yours worth?
