I’ve said this before. I don’t understand why all these pro athletes hire frail cacs to train them. If want to get stronger or faster I’m paying for some one who was/is strong. Look at all the retarded drills Mahomes trainer has him doing.

That's why I hated to see Ben Herbert leave Michigan to go to the Chargers with Harbaugh. That dude is the real deal, and was one other unsung heroes behind their success the last three years.

Yup, it's from August 2019 after his groin injury. With only 135 on there, my guess is that it's basically some sort of stretch/targeted strength exercise for that area in particular.

A lot of pro athletes don’t use traditional iso weight training like bodybuilders or regular gym goers…. Those type of exercises provide very little real world functionality

Even the comments on the earlier video say that it's a stretch and targeted strength exercise, just like I guessed it was:

"the pelvic tilt is for the glutes and lower back muscles; it's used also as a stretching exercise for spine maintenance; after few months of doing it as part of my stretching routine, i can more easily bend forwards without curving my spine the kind of way that leads to pain and possibly injury (bending forwards, tension is moved on the femoral biceps, and the back muscles handle better what's left for them)"


But he's not doing it the same way in the 2018 video as he is in the 2019 video. In the 2019 video, he's bending his back more and then thrusting out at the top of each lift, which is why I think he's specifically targeting the groin too in that one.
