Casino Royale and Skyfall are very good.

The other 2 not so much, although they have some cool action scenes.

Craig's Bond is a lot more serious, which generally isn't my preference. Brosnan was my favorite although Connery had the best films. Moore's movies were fun in a cheesy way.

Casino Royale and Skyfall. Casino Royale was so good when I finally watched it that It made me regret not catching it in theaters. Certain moments I wish I woulda watched for the first time in a crowd setting.

Quantum of Solace and Spectre feel like quiet movies, which is my thing personally, but I wouldn't force them on people. I also like analyzing them for tinfoil hat reasons I won't get into...

Quantum of Solace came out in 08 which was a personal favorite year for movie watching. Between QOS, The Dark Knight, A Guide to recognizing your Saints (2006), Pineapple Express, and Step Brothers among others, it's a personal classic. I also like the villain's plot cause it's relevant to alot of bullshyt that's being done in the world.

Overall Daniel Craig's bond is rough/ steely eyed, but has the trademark charm, and an intellect that my memory doesn't recall other bonds having to that degree. Some aspects of his portrayal diminish with each film in my opinion, but he's still my personal favorite bond untill further review...

i kinda stopped watching bond when pierce brosnan stepped down,
but today i was watching 'the spy who loved me' (roger moore is horrible by the way)
and i remembered that i still have to watch the blond bond movies
:manny:

i'm interested in knowing your reasons for considering roger moore horrible

far as your premise, in terms of overall plot, from one angle, it's an interesting journey into Bond's relation with the women in his life (non-"bond girl"s)

casino royale = vesper lynd
quantum of solace = camille montes
skyfall = eve moneypenny
spectre = madeleine swann

Casino Royale was great

I Really liked Skyfall; Quantum of Solace was okay and Spectre put me to sleep it was so boring

Not a fan of Craig as Bond; too dour and pouty and in his later appearances it's painfully obvious he's just there for a check
