I have watched some of Aziz Ansari's standups and I can't be the only one

Donald Glover special on Comedy Central was straight ass. I watched the entire thing waiting to laugh and just sat there the entire time like

yeah hes much better in sitcomes because what is funny about him is more about his delivery/voice/cadence/personality/comedic timing. He can't really write good enough jokes to accentuate that.

But that stuff is such a big part to comedy. Delivery is huge. Most comedians talk about bullshyt anyway imo, it's how you present your hack material. Aziz is one of those dudes that is so corny he's funny. IDK, to each his own though.

Yeah. Aziz and Donald Glover are just not good when it comes to stand up. I laugh at Aziz on Parks and Rec though. I don't think Donald Glover has ever done anything that has made me laugh. Who decides that these people are funny? Is there a committee meeting that I missed somewhere?

I agree but I wouldn't classify Aziz in the same stratosphere as someone like Bill Burr, Louis CK, or even Dane Cook for that matter

I do like Aziz and do find him funny. I just think his style is better suited for other outlets than only straight up stand up comedy.
