One movie out of many. 4 hours couldn't save grimdark hero team.

1)Feige assembled the worst team to make this film. It's clear the directors didn't care or have any passion for the character. That showed on screen.\
2) No real compelling villain or conflict. This probably is what hurt the film the most. I would say this is a problem that hurts Carol across mediums. She never really had a great rogue's gallery. She's basically Superman without the interesting universe that surrounds him.
3) The amnesia element kinda shot the character in foot. Carol basically spends the film as part robot regaining bits and pieces of her personality and memories back. Terrible way to introduce the audience to this character. Bri is down to earth, charismatic and kinda quirky in real life add some of that to Carol to endear her to audiences.

When I saw the movie in theaters I didn't hate it because I was looking past it towards Endgame and as a result ignored how stakeless the movie was. I now realize that this may be the worst marvel movie to date. The character showed 0 emotion even when told she was being emotional. This movie was ass. And I apologize to those I offended with my comments otherwise.

As much as i disliked Captain Marvel, at least we had a stan lee cameo. Black Widow is worse…much much worse.
