Saw the first two episodes of Halt and Catch Fire on AMC but stopped... I don't want to invest in a show that might not make it past one season. If this show makes to season two I'll pick it up again

With Netflix you got seconds till you watch the next episode, so if you're already feeling the show, Season 2 has started for you and so on.

.
Not to mention no commercials :banderas:

only good thing about watching a show while its being shown weekly is the convos you have with your friends and shyt about whats gonna happen next

I enoy binge watching shows, cause im hardly ever home, so I gotta catch em on the net. When I first got HBOgo from my cuz, I went thought Oz, GOT (first 3 seasons) Sopranos and next up is the wire. Also missed the first 2 seasons of walking dead, so I d/l those and binge watched so I could b up in the threads when that shyt is on now.

Meh...its whatever. The only time I binge/marathon is cuz I caught the show late or didn't know it existed.

I did a marathon on Battlestar Galactica. I didn't start watching until the final season.

Only other shows that were better than that I binged on was Breaking Bad seasons 1-3 and Utopia.

Marathon the Sopranos. Thought the series was overrated the series fianle was a cheap and lazy cop out. :sas2:

Too dumb to see the genius of the show. First part of the last season was weaker than the others but it serves it's purpose and is still dope

I watched the last season while it was on tv. And the way the tension is filmed in the last seen is one of the most intense feelings I've felt watching a movie or show . For the last 5 or so minutes can't remember the exact time they actually managed to make you feel what the main character( tony) feels. It was incredible on David chase's part and I give him props for not really explaining the ending at first and just saying" it's all there if you pay attention".

I had to watch the season a couple times but he gives you more than enough clues to let you know that

If you don't see the brilliance then :yeshrug: Your loss

As far as the topic goes . I agree but I have marathoned some shows and some shows are better to do it that way. Fr example Lost I watched in a month and I'm glad the first three seasons would have been awful to wait for cause of the cliffhangers

Plus now that you got netflix and shyt puttinga whole season out at once what does that mean for your opinion.

You gonna watch one episode of orange is the new black a week :comeon:
