the thing is it was going to flop regardless just based off cacs not wanting to see interracial coupling. But it looks like aside from that the movie is shyt. Its like someone was watching 'hustle' and was like let's make a film about that with Wil Smith and an ingenue that'll be cheap .
In a funny turn of events the Kristin Stewart who many said committed career suicide went on to costar next to the best actress winner. Hollywood is a funny biz I tells ya

yeah but when was the last time he worked with the Hughes bros, John singletons, f Gary gray or McQueens. We know he nixed spike Lee from directing Ali, great that he's one of the few that has made it but what's he doing with his positionlol.. I hate this type of envious mentality. That sounds like a HUGE success to me for a RomCom like this if those are the numbers this movie does this weekend. The problem is it has a $100 million budget & Warner Bros. has gone all out with marketing it.
If this movie was reasonably budgeted, nobody would be talking about a potential flop.

Will's is about to have ANOTHER #1 hit at the box office. The competition is falling off. "Fifty Shades of Grey" gimmick has worn fast, it's dropping like a rock and made more money then it should of. "Kingsman" is doing good but it's an R-rated action movie so the audience obviously isn't as strong now that it's open Everything else isn't going to compete. I'm hoping for a 30-40 Million weekend. It's a Romantic Thriller Heist Film that's R-rated. Yes some in White America will be turned off from the Interracial relationship, but Will Smith is beloved by EVERYONE all races so that shouldn't break the movie. Also Will smashed the newest baddest snow bunny in Hollywood is going to make them mad, lol. I agree buzz is lukewarm it's cause everyone is waiting for Will to get back on his Action Blockbuster station. This is a different role for him. I think it's going to do good for the genre and budget. I'm going Saturday. I support Will in whatever he does. Fan for life.

It will win the weekend but I'm worried that there seems to be an embargo on movie reviews until Thursday i guess. I will support Will anyway though
saw a trailer a few weeks ago and i couldnt figure out what the fukk it was about. have seen no tv commercials or anything. zero buzz. this will make 20-25 opening weekend TOPS and then fall off so fast you'll be downloading the bluray rip by Easter. I like both leads but this looks like it has nothing going for it.
If it opens at 60 that's a good look. The new trailers make it look interesting but I'm still not interested..you're either a nail or a hammer..I'll be the person watching another movie.but a 100 million dollar heist/romance movie is
