Integration was and always will be a failure.
Integration wasnt the failure.

The failure was our people selling their businesses and such to work for racist white men under the belief that we were gonna be treated equal eventually.

We should of stayed on the defensive like the other communities.

The protests have worked well for the people they were meant for. Mainly the rich bankers. Like lenin said "The best way to control the opposition is to lead it yourself".

Research Occupy wall street, #blacklivesmatter, the Ferguson riots, and most recently the Baltimore riots and you see the same group of people funding every one.

But you just keep thinking you're sticking it to the man.

No one is funding the riots :comeon:

I can tell you're either a troll or someone who's just talking out of his ass. I can show you instance after instance of black people rioting in this country as a last response to the injustices done white people. shyt the last major Baltimore riot was because MLK was assassinated.

What people are trying to fund is black peoples response to the riots.

Treat cops just like the Chinese would..

13.jpg

At least 4 Chengguan, the most hated police-inspectors in China, were beaten to death by angry people in Cangnan County of Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province (located in the industrial southeast), after they killed a man with a hammer. The police-inspectors hit the man with a hammer until he started to vomit blood, because he was trying to take pictures of their violence towards a woman, a street vendor. The man was rushed to hospital, but died on the way.

Thousands of angry people took to the streets, surrounded the police-inspectors in their van, attacked them with stones, bats, and beat them to death. People were shouting that the police-inspectors be killed on the spot for what they did: “Kill them! Kill them!”

These police-inspectors are notoriously violent, are rarely investigated or punished for their crimes, and are terrorizing people making a living. The Chengguan, which are a special combination between regular police and state inspectors, are called “violent government thugs” in China, thousands of them are on the state payroll in at least 656 cities. In July 2013, they beat to death a man and almost killed his wife, for trying to sell watermelon they had grown on their land. The crime of the Chengguan police sparked riots in the province of Guizhou.

It’s not clear what happened, though, but the responsibility for murdering the bystander taking pictures lays with the Chengguan. Among people there circulates a version of the events that claims that the police-inspectors hired some men to beat the bystander up after he tried to film them. The police-inspector ran so he could not be accused of being related to the murder. Apparently these Chengguan police proceed like this every time they meet people attempting to document or stop their violence.

Numerous police troops were deployed to disperse the crowds, but people kept protesting and demanded that media report what happened. Police used tear-gas and fired warning shots in the air, but could not control the angry crowds, which kept growing.

The images are very brutal. The woman lying on the street is the one abused by the Chengguan police. The dead men in the bus and beside it are the Chengguan police.

Similar police violence against workers and street vendors led to at least two insurrections against the state back in 2011.

Can you imagine the vitriol that would come from the right (and FOX News in particular) if black folks did something even halfway akin to that? :wow:

It's not so much that protesting is a waste of time. It isn't but we are aiming in the wrong direction. Those Baltimore riots showed what is wrong with is as a people. We get mad and burn down our own shyt, because it's an easy reach.
name what they burned down that they owned.

Most of the businesses may not have been black owned but they probably did provide employment opportunities to the locals. It's already hard enough finding a job, but it's even harder for those that may have lacked reliable transportation.

So you can't name them? So your blatantly telling a lie in order to pretend they burned their own businesses down.

Interesting.

We are a minority in the States and majority rules, things will never be in our favor no matter how many protests we have. Honestly if black people were the majority and whites the minority I wouldnt want them to ever be in a position on equal footing with us in our country either.

For police violence to they fukk with everybody its just we get it the worse but they will still touch anyone who they feel didnt show them respect they be on a power trip

We really need a new black wallstreet

:what:
Let me re-read the thread and see if I answered out of context. I was just going off the last two or three posts.

update: If you read my answer, I'm saying most probably weren't black owned. I stand by what I said. Sorry for jumping into your convo with the other guy.

Protesting is nothing but a reaction. If communities built up a stronger financial base and created a code for everyone to follow when injustices occurred, everything would be more organized.

Maybe this is just my reaction to the last few years of news events and I'm being excessively cynical, I dunno. Or maybe I'm being short-sighted.

But it's starting to feel like all these protests are becoming pointless. Same shyt over and over and over again...some cop/civilian guns down some black person for no justifiable reason, they get let off (especially if they're a cop), there are a bunch of protests for a while, and two months later the same thing happens with the same result. Rinse & repeat.

What should we do? I don't know...I'm definitely not saying I have the answer but I'm open to ideas. Maybe try to grab more political power? But right now it seems like all this peaceful protesting has been completely ineffective in changing anything. There's gotta be a more effective approach.

Agree? Disagree? Thoughts?

More political power would be nice but Black America can barely muster 100 PROTESTERS AT SOME OF THESE RALLY'S .
