You do realize Jordan shot even more, and didn't even crack 70 right?...you're just embarrassing yourself at this point

shyt, Kobe has played longer than Jordan and still hasn't caught up to MJ in field Goal attempts.

When you look at the list of most shots taken during a single game Kobe and Jordan hold 9 of the top ten spots (Jordan is at 1).

They do? Are you serious?

Yes Everyone remembers that game, it gets brought up fairly often considering how long ago it happened.

Whenever the game is mentioned the haters always say "Yeah but it was against the Raptors" as if it was one of the worst teams in the history of the league.

lol are YOU serious?

I'm not even a Kobe fan like that but come on son

Maybe on this board but it's not like it was some fukking event or legendary situation....he didn't win a title in the game or anything. He scored wildly against the Raptors. That's as good as Vick getting 4 TDs in 7 minutes against a rival like the Giants? Or the Serena streak in 2002-2003? Doubtful.

How is the most points ever scored in the shot-clock era not a historic event?

Bron needed to join 2 other top 10 players to win a Chip. They weren't even goin to beat Indy without Bosh. Kobe got 3 with Shaq (and Shaq was the Best bar-none at the time) but Shaq wouldn't have won it without Kobe either, people who think otherwise are brain dead.

Bron will never surpass Kobe, it is what it is, just accept it.

It was a great achievement but it really doesn't hold any weight in any comparison discussions. It was one game and certainly not typical. A 45% shooter and 33% 3 pt shooter shot 61% and over 50% respectively in one game. I saw Tony Delk score 50 in one game before. Let's keep things in perspective.

And mention the shot clock era? The purpose of the shot clock was to speed the game up. :heh:

:troll: ^

But what does "They weren't even goin to beat Indy without Bosh" mean? :dwillhuh:

I will agree with you that Shaq needed his sidekick. :ehh:
