@thedevilyouknow as a kid in the 90s you would not be hyper aware of record sale metrics. Wasn't really a cultural thing for youth to care about then as much

true....but it did happen in the subconscious. I remember thinking with all the hype
And promo for a project, when some came and went I would wonder what happened, only to find out it didn’t sell/perform well that’s why the label stopped promoting it.

They were over to me by blacks magic. Never truly an album act but once she cacs co opted their music for trite female empowerment jams it was beyond over.
