I'll attempt to keep this brief. Former teammate is getting married and since I'm unable to make the wedding, I agreed to make the reception. I don't know anything about receptions so any tips, pointers, and general/basic advice would be appreciated.

General info about the situation:
I don't dance
I don't drink
I'm asocial/apathetic
I don't expect very many black people to be there.

Life happens outside your comfort zone

So go drink, dance and be social and have a good time

Breh, please make sure you wear a proper suit. none of that wal-mart, department store, off the rack shiet breh. a proper suit will EASILY take attention away from the Groom and bride towards you. the best advice i can give you is to get a suit like a soccer player would wear, not an NBA or NFL Player
