yep.
but otherwise its a good movie. good acting and if you dont try to logically understand it (like the terminator movies for example with future paradoxes and shyt) completely its good

for example...how is the protagonist able to find the terrorist outside of the train ? :what: when the memory of the person hes in is confined to the train itself ? technically speaking all interaction he does on the train should be imaginary too...

I haven't seen the movie in a minute, but if I remeber correctly. Everytime he went "back", he actually went into a parallel universe ( which I dont think the Dr meant to happen ) So he wasn't confined to just the train for those 8 minutes.

Also when he left the train and was shot, it was less than 8 minutes because his watch went off and he was zapped back. But like I said I haven't watched the movie in almost a year.

eh but I dont think that was ever implied...the parallel universe in the future, yes. but I dont think it was implied for him to go into the past, alternate universe.

the premise is hes somehow able to gather information from the dudes memory...and after that basic premise the logic goes all over the place :heh:

I mean, I could live with the fact he could interact with the world but once he got off the train and shyt I was like :beli:

I actually kept waiting for writers to show that hes imagining shyt/made it up like in brazil's ending...but that never came.

:heh: Science fiction does not mean the plot doesn't have to make logical sense. There is a difference between "Science Fiction" and "Sciene weareterriblewriterssowemakeitupaswegoalong"
yep

we can cut some slack and accept some assumptions but that doesnt mean you can just create whatever the fukk you want, lol

like even though the basic premise in the first terminator is that a guy from the future sends a soldier to protect his present day mom and then this soldier impregnates his mom in the present...we usually dont ask so what happens to this guys bilogical dad ?:ohhh: we kinda take the time paradox shyt as one of the very few assumptions that makes shyt work :manny:

Ehh, you can't go wrong with either... But Looper will be the one you have to watch at least 2 times to catch everything.

"The Source Code allows its user to experience the last eight minutes of another compatible person's life within an alternative timeline."

This just allows for a ton of possibilities. If you're okay with there possibly being technology like this, but you're not okay with being able to walk outside of the train? They essentially create an alternate universe everytime he goes into the source code. Other beings are existing within this universe as well..

so then...anyone can be a terrorist since it can be any timeline ? whats the point of finding shyt out about the bomb if its not finna be helpful in any other timelines ? ( which is false, at the end we see a timeline in which fukking up a terrorist helped to save the train)

maybe I missed this key concept...but basically anything is possible in multiple timelines ? I got the feeling this was more of a groundhog day then a God simulator...

it seems the people are set on their paths but Jake Gyllenhall can change those paths by interacting with them
