I feel like the disinformation campaign worked on Black folks this election cycle.

Did black men make up a large percentage of this? Was it even close to 50%?

:unimpressed:
I can answer that for you.

So steering back to your original question, your post was misinformed because you put yourself into the conversation when the conversation wasn't about you. Folks are talking about disinformation and the people impacted by it.

I'm of the opinion that this wouldn't be an issue with a President that actually could deliver strong policy the afflicted could easily point to and say that improved my life. And I got this because I talk to people all the time who vote for the couch and would probably meet OP's criteria for a person impacted by disinformation.

The common thread is that in their life, nothing has changed for the better based on policy delivered by Biden, so my observation is there's simply nothing there that would make them care about fact checking.
So you are making the argument that in no way do stupid people affect the lives of everyday people who aren't stupid?!?! People live are improved whether they know it or not...... can identify the benefit or not....... being ignorant still is not an excuse for people to just go along with whatever bullshyt is told to them and definitely not basis to parrot that same ignorance with vitriol as if they know it for facts........ everything whether people want to realize it or not everything affects everybody........ unless you are in a tax bracket where you don't have to worry about money there is no one that isn't affected

I wouldnt single out black folk at all. Trump (and most politicians in general) plays on the fact that a majority of Americans are just straight up ignorant and lack an innate ability to simply think for themselves. Its unfortunate but its reality. Social media has compounded this over the years and its getting worse by the minute.

With that, I dont think he wins, but I was certain he wouldnt in 2016 either....

Do not put Trump’s victory on black people. They are literally the only group of people voting nearly 100% for democrats.

CACs cannot and will not escape, yet again, with holding this country hostage to a demagogue

I don't often agree with you, but on this you're 100% correct.

Black people have and will this time, be almost 90%+ voting for Kamala. The black men everyone is making a fuss about were the nikkas that never voted to begin with, or so fringe that they didn't make meaningful votes.

To the OPs point, the disinformation has been working on Black folks for years. Why? Because we spread word fast and many of us don't have many tools to cut through the noise. But the disinformation has been FAR MORE EFFECTIVE on white people.

i question how many people are in black circles if they disagree. i live in a pretty blue county (Queens NY) and the amount of black people (especially men) supporting trump with all these republican talking points (and misinformation) have SKYROCKETED in the past year. now the argument can be had if these are people who would even vote in the first place, but im seeing friends who were "democrats can do no wrong" heavy slowly switching sides. i wouldnt be all the way shocked if he got 20-30% of the black male vote this election cycle.

yeah i own a barbershop so i see this shyt up close damn near every day. nikkas been on Trump's dikk for a minute. It be mostly street nikkas and young nikkas who be outside tbh. Older black men and younger professional men who actually vote are all with Kamala.

I'm not calling anyone stupid based on whether or not they fall victim to disinformation, those are your words and that low barrier is your intelligence measure. Based on my observation, that's a mark on how much you care about a candidate more than anything. Someone who really cares about their candidate (likely because in their life they're seeing reason to care about this candidate) will be on top of things. Someone who could hardly give af about a candidate (likely because in their life they're seeing no reason to care about this candidate), will hardly give af enough to fact check things.

There is no "whether you know it or not". People spend 24 hours a day paying bills going through life, they know their lives. If they're looking at their 2024 life and not seeing anything Joe Biden did that makes it any different than their 2014 life, they're not going to care enough to check any facts about his VP who said she wouldn't do anything differently. Stronger policy fixes that.

People might not want to admit it, But to me it just seems like Women aren't as popular as men for elected office.
Both Hillary and Kamala are way more qualified than Trump and yet people really consider Trump over both of them. Yet Biden beat trump when he ran

This shyt is hinging on them.

Which means we’re still in trouble :mjlol:

If they learned from Hilary, they’ll vote for Harris

Roe v. Wade changed the shyt up. Telling white women they can't do something is just as motivating as saying it to a white man. Midterms around the population centers and top populated states showed this. OH, MI, IL, WI, CA, CO, NY and Mass all have protected abortion laws. And in the case of MI, OH, NV and MN, they all protected abortion in the midterms. White women did NOT stand for that shyt.
