:rudy: Sheed is a potential HOF. The crowd appreciated him and showed him great respect, and not in the Scal way either. Plus, he can come off the bench and drop some 3's.

Sheed just having fun out there at this point. He ain't in playing shape yet. He won't be coming in during blowouts midway through the year once he is in basketball shape.

What's the legend of Rasheed Wallace?

Why did he retire if grizzled ol' dude still had game in him?

Why'd the Knicks drag him back into the League & outta retirement?

What the hell is wrong with the Knicks that they are recruiting from old folks' homes? Why don't they replen from draft picks & D-League men?

WTF is going ON here? *confused*

Sheed has a post game, including passing from the post and high-post, something these young'ns don't have. Kidd is old and can't run anymore, so athletic running big men doesn't work. Sheed works in a 1/2 court offense..which is the team that we have.

Uncertain grounds
Sheed clearly left the game cuz he thought he was done mentally. Prob just hit the trees hard until he came to a moment of revelation that led him to be motivated to play again. Dude looks slimmer than he did on the Celtics, and is probably going to be more useful to the Knicks than he was for us, and he was definitely worthy against the Lakers in the finals. That was the best he had played all year.

At the end of the day, the story with sheed is the same...he will be as good as he wants to be and is allowed to be. Honestly. Hes smarter than damn near every big in the game, and with centers dying out, there will be times in games later in the season where sheed looks like a plus big on both sides of the ball...I guarantee you that.

People comparin him to juwan and scal dont know basketball. If juwan was good enough to be on the championship winning team last year, then sheed damn sure is too. Probably for the next two seasons too if he doesnt put on weight. He can play the five at 20 minutes or so a game and play as a top ten or fifteen center for that time, assuming he gets his lungs right.

Don't let the media mislead you. More than 1/2 of the populatin here aren't fans of the Eagles or 76ers. Flyers are universally loved mostly because of the nickname "Broad Street Bullies" and everyone loves the Phillies but those other 2 teams....Conversations about sports usually start with "who your squad?"
