Lmao israrl was knocked the fukk out in his last kickboxing match why you think he doing mma

Romero probably his only challenge because of the wresling everbodu else at middleweight is hot trash and definitely not capable if knocking him out
Because it pays a shyt ton more, same reason why Pereira is trying to get out of his Glory contract to do MMA fulltime

Stephen Thompson obliterated him he has no chance against Israel who is a better fighter in all aspects, I give Romero a chance, because of his explosion, he can land something at crazy at any time

So a fight 6 years ago is relevant because? People don't improve? I could list a lot of great fighters today who got "obliterated" by someone a while ago that doesn't mean shyt.

He hasn't improved, he wsalks into shots, and that is a recipe for diaster against an accurate striker, its the style the reason he has no chance, and also middleweights are gargbage, I mean GSP got the belt a washed up GSP

it takes a life time to develop striking defense, 6 years ain't enough time, if you look at his fights you can see he would still get crushed by wonder boy

its harder to learn at a late age when already have so many bad habit

You don't follow kickboxing you just look at his record, every time he stepped to the championship level he lost, and the type of punch he was caught with shows he has very poor defense like most kick boxers

It was a good lil sparring match. they were content to keep it standing which made it more interesting. Israel won of course, but with the wars, injury, and just like the 20 years Silva had on him it wasn't a shock. You can tell Silva wasn't the same and I've had that tibia surgery as well... you are never the same person after that 9/10.

I don't think they were going all out but they wasn't playing around. Fight delivered without really harming anyones legacy or future legacy

Do you feel that Israel was holding back out of respect?

Yeah but not that much. I think he could’ve been concerned with silvas BJJ to take him down but thought he could beat him standing.

I think Silva proved he was still dangerous enough to hurt him and Silva was trying to bait him so he didn’t go all out. Silva ducked his special kick like 3 times in a row and i think that got his respect that Silva can still keep up striking.

You can tell Silva was old and washed but i think israel held back out of respect but also concern himself not to walk into shyt or throw to hard and miss

False. His footwork is miles better. His striking is much more varied. To say Israel would murder him especially after last night is exaggeration.

what footwork you are just saying shyt you think sounds good lmao, his striking IQ is very low he walks into shots, he hasn't fought a striker since Wonderboy, Gastelum had a good chance of KOing him

I don't know what you are basing your opinion on, the best striker he's beat is Urian Hall who isn't really a striker he only has powerful kicks

No you are just saying shyt. Whittaker can cut angles. He can strike going forward or backwards. He’s never flat footed or rooted in place. Give me all the examples of him walking into shots with no awareness. The same arguments of him not facing anyone can be made against Gastelum(whos beating up old vets and walking into shots watch his last fight against Jacare) and Israel. Well Israel fought an extremely washed Anderson and was still getting clipped by jabs, straights, and counter hooks. All while eating Israel pillow hands and frustrating him. But yea Israel is going to destroy the fighter who is younger, faster, and has crisper hands when he couldn’t do it against 44 year old Silva :mjlol:

Once gain you're just saying buzz words you heard people say, cut angles, you don't even know what that means, everything you said has nothing to do with defense lmao, thats the difference between mma striking and fighting, you only see offense in "striking" stand up fighting is about defense converted into offense

He hasn't fought a striker since wonderboy, lmao, he walks into punches, Anderon Silva can beat him, he not that good lmao

pre usada weidman would beat him too, gastelum probably would've beat him, he's not that good
