I don't think my childhood ever recovered from TMNT 3

Yeah, I watched this when I graduated 1st grade as a present. I actually liked it when I was 6 and a half

Even gotten the VHS and played it over a dozen times less than a year later. The crazy thing is, after the Summer of 94, this same film damn near made me quit liking Ninja Turtles and I moved on to video gaming lol

But this film, on the real, almost killed the TMNT pheomonon as you know it. Even put the cartoon on life support, right when Batman: TAS was roaring in its second season and X Men TAS crushed the buildings altogether.

By the time it came out it kinda felt like Turtlemania had already peaked around end of 91 so this dropping in 93 felt extra unnecessary
Yeah the cartoon was still on but I dont even know if that was popping

Really it was 03 animated show that kinda slowly brought them back to a new generation of kids and now that Nickelodeon show too
Probably nowhere near as big as 1990 but they still going with kids which is cool. Something to connect with with you kids
