Blacks are some of the heaviest participants in the voting process and how much of a difference has it made made in improving our overall condition? The Asian has the lowest voter turnout and look at theirs by contrast.
Black folks are probably the largest minority group besides whites and alongside latinos in America who vote and run for public office. But we are faaaaaar from "heavy participants."
Black voter turnout is atrocious and has always been. Roughly 50% of black adults are even registered to vote, let alone voting at all.
If all black folks over 18 years old registered to vote and participated, Georgia and Texas would be blue states. Andrew Gillum and Stacey Abrams woulda been governors. Trump would have never been elected President. We'd have like 5 isolated cases of covid left. Nearly a million dead Americans would still be alive safe well and employed. Wed all be living without masks a year ago. Abortion rights would still exist in Texas. Voting rights for black people would be thoroughly protected in Georgia. We'd have a left leaning Congress thats in a far better position to vote on and pass "laws specific to FBA/ADOS."
Overall the entire world would be a far better place in 2021 if we actually fukking voted.
Instead we like to sit out elections, willingly hand over our political power, bytch about how we wish things were, and then go on YouTube where snakes like Tariq and Yvette Carnell are lurking around putting out "content" to take advantage of these do-nothing, low information individuals.
Asians hardly vote and so you dont hear shyt about their vote during elections. You dont see politicians fighting tooth and nail for their votes or bribing them with laws "exclusive" to them as your YouTube hustlers adapting right wing propaganda and agendas would love for you to believe. They are a largely ignored voting bloc. What took place earlier this year with the stop asian hate movement was prompted by a very real and visible spree in post-covid violence that had to be addressed.
It came and went like a short lived trend. Where back to not talking about Asian Americans at all, and Congress's response to it was a bill that expanded resources for everyone to report hate crimes among other large scale and universal anti-discrimination initiatives. They didnt get anything close to "reparations" or laws "specific to them." This is dumb TLR nikka shyt dudes just made up to sound militant. Democrats couldnt even sneak in provisions about guns in the bill because they wanted this to pass quickly and had to avoid any monkey shyt fight with evile NRA conservatives. You cant even compare it to the way Congress respnded to George Floyd.
If Congress gave black folks the same law after a mass shooting against us yall would call it BS and bytch and whine that its not enough and you want a paycheck and laws only for black people. Asians get a law passed that benefits everyone and yall are foaming at the mouth like it was such an affront to African Americans.
Yall stay exaggerating this whole "DeMs CaN dO 4 AsIaNs bUt NoT 4 Us!!!" narrative.
