I think those might be a little overpriced at a deparment store. At Toys R Us I think they were $64-$72.

But nonetheless they were fukking expensive

fukk yeah games were expensive, especially RPG's on SNES. Still remember waking up on a early Sunday morning to take the bus to the mall to buy Super Street Fighter for $79.99 at EBGames. $90 after tax well spent.:obama:

That's gotta be from Canada. Street Fighter 2 Turbo Championship Edition was $72 I think and that was the hottest shyt in the world at the time.

My mom paid like $90 for Street Fighter 2 on the SNES because the thing was sold out EVERYWHERE in nyc when it was first released.

I remember street fighter 2 turbo being over 100$ when it dropped, but it got a good 3 years of heavy play.

fukk, that's another thing. Games were expensive AND could sell out.

I remember trying to find A Link to the Past, Goldeneye, Ocarina of Time and WWF Wrestlemania 2000. Parents were hating Nintendo during those times.

I remember:

- getting the Super Nintendo for Christmas, and when tax time rolled around, my mom bought me Final Fight for 20 bucks at Wal-Mart
- most JRPGs were pricey as fukk, and stayed that way because of their entertainment value
- I wish I would have kept a lot more of the extremely rare games I ran into, they sell for dumb high prices on eBay
- games at the mall where ridiculously overpriced as well

Also, is that a Toys R Us or Electronics Boutique ad? :laff:
