ihop went to shyt around me. I used to hit them up every Sunday morning but haven't been back in years. We got a family place and a Big Biscuit which OK.

Perkins was good too but they went under.

Wafflehouse has a weird taste to me, like they don't clean the soap off their pots good enough or something. I gave up on them too. About the only time I'll mess with them is if I'm up really late

I remember Perkins having good breakfast. We use to go to shoneys too back in the day because of the breakfast bar.

I actually like waffle house and IHOP. Waffle House hits after a night out but there's a risk of some fukkary at night depending on your location. IHOP you gonna be in there all day most of the time in my experience the service is slow but the food is pretty good.

As a deep Southerner who comes from a family of real cooking aint no fukking way you gone pretend like WH good.



I would NEVER go to WH, IHOP, etc. over a local Southern Black spot that makes breakfast right.


WH, IHop is ONLY for late night when everything else closed and you have no other option. I done had WH all over the South and hell naw that shyt is not comparable to a local Black Southern spot.

In the mornings back in the day mafukkas would always pick Shoneys over WH or IHop because of the buffet.

Had waffle house for the first time when I visited my brothers in Goergia. Had the hashrbwon scrambled fully loaded with everything on top, and 4 pecan waffle pancakes.

I can say without a shadow of doubt that I've never had anything close to touching that shyt at any iHop. Phenomenal comfort food.

Just went to the local IHOP.

I said no hashbrowns, just eggs and pancakes with my order.

One order, double helping of hashbrowns, no eggs

The other just hashbrown and eggs.

Only 2 pancakes.

I won't be byke.
