Teenage Peter at least
Dude was definitely on the way to becoming an angry incel
Swagless haircut and uptight clothes

I feel like they did it so he could be an every man so ppl could like him more

i would have likes if he started out that way and over came it

You want our Guy to Go back to Glasses and sweater Vests?

Nobody would even like him after the Dweebfermation ...

And to be real with it, these days,if a truly geeky guy like that got that type of Power, the nikka would be a straight up villain.. Kidnapping hot girls and killing Jocks...

Damn, that should be a Movie!!
:ohhh:

he don’t have to be exactly like that

but mcu Peter is basically a regular kid
Disney was basically like a lame is not marketable
His adversity is a major part of his character

I think there should be balance. There are some people that no matter where they are in life, life steps in and whoops their ass like the Gooch. I know a few people that just happen to have that type of life. Spidey is like that, and no matter what is going on, he perseveres. Plus, he's still one of the few that tries to protect their identity, or at least keeps the superheroing and personal separate, as much as possible. But at his core, he's still awkward, so that should never change.

fukk are you talking about. He went on a date with Mary Jane while in high school. Plus he dated liz Allen in high school. Peter was not an incel at all.

OG Spider-Man movies made one movie with him being a teenager and moved on. Real life was just as unkind as the safety of high school hallways
:wow:

It's tiring that he still can't leave high school after two reboots.

The thing is Peter was always more lame because of his interests and personality versus just being an incel loser. He was the quiet kid who was into science and reading and whatnot. He was one of those kids who got bullied by a few a$$holes, but most kids just didn't really bother with because he was harmless. It makes sense that becoming Spider-Man and becoming more confident in himself would lead to him being more social and making friends, which in turn, made him less awkward and nerdy. That's how it works in real life for a lot of people. A lot of shy nerds just eventually figure out how to use their shyt.
