It's sad but he's still old enough to know right from wrong and he obviously didn't learn his lesson if he had a previous charge against him.
Over here, most people who commit murders only get like 30 years or less then they don't even serve the whole sentence most of the time. There's no deterrent for crime at all so people just do whatever the hell they want.
But no, I couldn't be serving no life sentence knowing that the outside world is just passing me by while I'm just rotting away in a cell being of no use to myself or anyone else.
