I can't stand watching a movie in 3D

Agreed 100%, resolution looks worse too, picture doesn't look as sharp. I don't feel any more immersed in movie because I'm wearing these silly ass glasses. Additionally, "3D" can and has been done in film since film began being shot, it's called depth of field.

It's extremely distracting too. You can never get lost in the movie. You're always aware and detached. It does the exact opposite of what it's intended to do for me: Draw me into the movie.

Even Avatar didn't do it for me. The king of 3D movies.

I agree. It also makes me feel uncomfortable. Best experience I had with it was Tron Legacy but I still felt my eyes spazzing out.

I saw avatar and coincidentally ironman3 in 3D. I couldnt see watching every movie in it. Ironman was because it was the next time showing.

Saw both with my pops, didnt pay but a family of 5 at a 3D movie can be about 80 dollars


Lastly, the movie we thought we couldnt make was in a big ass RPX theater, I didnt realize ads run damn near 30 mins now. We could have easily saw it in the normal priced and better theater

yeah its terrible... but on a sidenote... do i really need to buy a new bluray player to watch avengers and spiderman and all these 3d movies i have...

I just spend 1k on a 3dtv and now i gotta buy a new bluray player too... i know id watch the movies only one time but still... fukk... i just wanna see how it looks..

is there some sorta tech glitch i can use to just watch it on a regular bluray player... and no i dont have a ps3

i was so cheap i saw ironman 3 in 2d.. i didnt care either. the only movies where 3d ever really helped was avatar and life of pi..the others werent much difference.
