If you are going to be someone who is open about changing views and being persuaded to a different position then it would behoove you to not be a hyper aggressive a$$hole all the time so when you completely pivot you don't have people you claimed you were "educating and being 'the sole reason any of you even know about (insert event or topic)'" now having been the people who were espousing your newly converted beliefs for far longer than you were and haven't wavered.
