Shytty actions and behavior deserve shytty criticism. This shyt isn't normal and doesn't need to be coddled. We do that WAY too much in our culture. This situation is wack and doesn't deserve any kid gloves. I know a woman that had a kid at 13 and her son is about to graduate college with a good career lined up (and he has no kids). That woman also graduated college herself. She made sure to utilize all of her positive support channels to turn a bad situation into an eventual positive situation. This doesn't have to be a cycle. No sympathy for OP, he's pissed anyway as he should be.

My son is tall for his age and a light bright with curly sandy brown hair. He going to be a problem, he already gets preferential treatment and praise about his looks everywhere we go. I hope he doesn't go out bad like me... I'm REALLY working on him, he's going to be hitting the books and occupied with sports.

I did the same with my daughter and she did better than me but it's still not ideal. I just atleast want her to finish college and we're going to work through this like my folks did with me. She did say that she would still finish school. She's a biology major and her dream is to work for the CDC, we will make certain that happens for her.

At this point, what is and isn't ideal is out the window...it's all about making sure that you work to make sure they and that baby are a success. You have the right to feel bummed for a day or so but after that you need to get over it. What will make you a failure is if your daughter falls into a life of poverty and raises the next generation of your bloodline to a similar fate.

Do not let shame or embarrassment stop you from continuing your obligation of providing for your daughter. What if she and this young man are in it for the long haul and they actually build a successful life together? Your ages in relation to one another will puzzle people but in the end once they see what you have created they won't be able to say shyt.

It's time to move forward...you got a grand kid coming...
