I can't be the only one who doesn't like Family Guy?

The only characters holding that show up nowadays is the Stewie and Brian tandem. Everything else is bushes status...


The fukked up thing is that the first two seasons are genuinely funny. When it was resurrected you still had funny episodes here and there but Seth Mcfarlane ran out of good ideas a LOOOOOONNGGGG while ago. The last time I remember TRULY enjoying entire episodes was when they were doing the Star Wars parodies

Seth macfarlane hasn't written an episode in years. And never wrote that many to begin with. Same way matt groening wasnt writing simpsons for most of its run.


The real problem is all the characters are one note jokes. They arent real characters with any depth.



But I can still watch the first three seasons and lmao. I'd put those three seasons against the simpsons in their prime.

I could never get into it even at its popular height. The silly cutaway scenes do nothing for me Same with 30 rock

30 Rock is abysmal and there wasn't a single strong actor on the show. Tracy was the worst and seemed like he was literally reading off cue cards the entire time. I feel like they "gave" Tina that show just so she would stay in the SNL family and not go to CBS or even basis cable.

That is one show I can call unwatchable because you literally have no idea what the show is about besides being about people working at a show. How the fuxk you have a show based/filmed in New York but most of it is spent back stage at a studio.

I don't know bout that one breh...those first 3 seasons were classic true, but Simpsons in its prime had Mr. Plow, Bart jumping the gorge, Who Killed Mr. Burns, Homer joining the Secret Society, Homer becoming a clown for the Mob, etc...so many classic episodes

The entire rest of the FOX animation lineup is so much better than Family Guy. I liked Cleveland Show better too but of course that cancelled.

American Dad, Bob Burgers and even the new Simpsons are better than Family Guy these days.

I hate watching a comedy show and not laughing once or even smiling, show just has me annoyed with how unfunny it is these days.

It's ran it's course ......but y'all can cut that it hasn't been funny since it came back from cancelation bs out.. People always go too far, the last 2 or 3 seasons have not been nothing worth talking about but before that that shyt was top 5 best cartoons ever.. It only stopped being funny after it's return to the people that only watched because it was the "it" show..

I've Hated that Show since Day 1. I grew up on The Simpson but Homer wasn't this Goddamn Dumb, Peter just strikes me as Annoying. I tried watching because Mila Kunis was a Voice on there but I couldn't take not 1 more Giggity.

prime family guy gets a slight nod over prime american dad.. i've watched a lot more family guy but i only got into american dad a few years ago.

but american dad has clearly been funnier in recent years and it's not that close.

it's a combination of the american dad characters being better built for fukkery.. and they've probably run out of good family guy ideas after 10+ years.
