I came to a realization, Spike Lee's movies didn't fall off, they were just never that good

sound like a Coli poster rant

25 in a car
Uptown "Brothas", they never pass the ball, too lazy to play defense, taking 5 steps on every lay up and arguing after everyplay.

:mjpls:

:deadrose:I just peep that too and while the scene was powerful for the time, it aged like shyt because of the whole 9/11 paranoia "I'M MAD AT EVERYTHING" phase folks were on.

You wylin. Most of his movies are at least pretty good and Malcolm X is on the short list of candidates for greatest movie ever.

Malcolm X is my favorite movie of all time. If that’s all he had, he would still be revered.

Inside Man, Do the Right Thing, Da Five Bloods, 25th Hour, Jesus. I could go on and on.

Sure he has some duds, but aside from Quentin, what other director knocks it out of the park with every movie?
