smh @ people getting angry over this. It's a machine.... those things tend to sporadically break every once in a while. My PS3 is dead at the moment, and those things are "supposed" to have a lesser fail rate than the 360, which is my case in running just fine.

Anyone who read my original post saw I never called the it the Red Ring because there is no ring anymore it's just a single red light. Thats how you tell who's familiar with the new systems and who's not. Why would I lie about my brand new console crapping out? Is there some benefit to me? The Red LIGHT of death however is a real issue with slim models apparently and I had never heard about it till last night when It happened

my 06 model bricked a week after the insurance expired last October. Previously it RROD twice. Got a refunished one that died a month later. Self repaired both and now the work when they want to. These shyts are made to fail. I'm never buying another console again.

3cept? nikka I've never repped Sony anything a day in my Coli Life. And that harddrive thing wasn't the problem

I'm not a fanboy I call it how it is. I bought a new xbox, it crapped out 4 days later, I'm annoyed. I never said fukk M$ or that I was switching to Sony, I'm going to replace this one before todays over, but it's just aggravating this shyt is still happening even with the new models

@O RLY my power brick got the red light too a couple days ago, I bought a compressed gas duster and sprayed inside of it. Had it on for a couple hours with no problems. I tried to open it but I bought the wrong screws its a slim xbox btw too

I haven't turned off my slim in more then a year since the sensor started acting up and kept turning Xbox on and off,still running strong,even I'm surprised,easily 500 days without turning it off and shyt load of online marathons

I do the same with my 360...never turn it off and havent had any problems at all
