Lowkey once Durant left the Warriors I didn't want Kawhi on the Lakers. I didn't want it to be so easy it invalidates his ring to a lot of people. The difference with Miami was how overlapping Wade and Brons skillset were. In hindsight it might have been "easier" elsewhere .

They was just advocating for a LeBron/AD/Kawhi superteam last summer

No disrespect intended but it was mostly Lakers fans. They understandably didn't have a long-term attachment to LeBron so they wanted that for real. Plus he had just missed the playoffs so I get it. Especially since were thinking about after Bron leaves.
However unless Durant wasnt staying in GS it was needed for most Bron stans here.
