I been reading The Walking Dead Compendium. Can y'all suggest other media like this?

I only have the 1st version right now but I'm definitely going to get the other ones too.

I've never watched The Walking Dead so I think that's a part of why I enjoy it so much.

Do you guys have other comic book series that you suggest like this?

Preferably something that comes in reasonably priced chunks like these.

All comics eventually come in collected editions. :dwillhuh:
nikka I don't know shyt about comics and I ain't afraid to admit it :russ:

Reading this really made me interested in them and honestly I wasn't even sure if it would be considered a comic book.

I was legitimately getting excited to turn the page and see what was going to happen next :ohhh:

As a novice I'll take suggestion from anyone about this stuff.

I'm not too interested in the Superhero stuff but outside of that I'm open.

I'd say if you like Walking Dead, check out some of Robert Kirkman's other major books:

Invincible (Superhero)
Oblivion Song (Sci-fi)
Fire Power (Martial arts)

Oblivion Song is the closest to a 'spiritual successor' to Walking Dead. Fire Power just started back in June so it only has two volumes out. Invincible is one of his most popular books and has an Amazon animated series coming out.

Also, for other long-running Image titles, I'd check out Saga and Monstress.

Saga is one of the most popular non Big Two books out there, but it's been on hiatus for two years with no announce date for when it's coming back.

Monstress is another popular one, but I personally found it to be a really slow burn until about fifteen or so issues in.

Dark Horse and Image comics would be your thing. I can only recommend East of West. It’s post-apocalyptic stuff.

You can drop those too.

It wasn't just the post apocalyptic zombie shyt that I liked about TWD. It was the story telling.

Hell TWD at least from what I'm reading is less about the zombies and more about how people interact with each other and create their own communities in their new society.

I'm more interested in the mature stuff and less interested in the DC Marvel stuff.

Part One was :ohhh::dwillhuh::damn::mjcry:

I've been purposefully taking my time with part Two.

I need to slow down before I go ahead and purchase part 3.

I see the free links but for some reason I enjoy the physical copies better.

TWD is certainly good but you can figure out when he stopped his focus on the comic to commit to the show. Still a good read tho.
