Most? Maybe most people YOU come in contact with or maybe you're making assumptions. To each his own. As long as the work isn't fukked up that's all that matters to me. Some people get tats that don't come out right and look fukked up. Those are the ones I would critique. People getting Chinese tattoos was "trendy" but tattoos have been around for centuries.

I don't know, I feel like the shades blend together better instead of people looking like a sheet of paper that's been drawn on. Part of the reason why I wouldn't get a tattoo

No most tattoo enthusiasts get tattoos because its a form of art. Its not always the matter how deep it is. Its the fact that is art and they want that art to be apart of them. Its not a trend. Getting a full body sleeve is not a trend. Now people like rappers and rachet women they do it just to be cool and I understand what you mean if you go by. But tattoo enthusiast? No. And plus we're in the majority.
