Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity announced (Breath of the Wild prequel) November 20th

Looks good and looks fun, but I’m not really into that Dynasty Warrior stuff, and the fact that we know they lose in the end, makes me not want to buy it. I would guess somehow the guardians are the final boss and you kind of fight a losing boss battle like the end of Star Wars Fallen Order?

I couldn't tell to be honest. I was lost in the sauce. I expected to play 1-2 battles Max. I ended up playing for 3 hrs. Went back to getting my ass whooped by a guardian. I mean I won but I was waiting for a cutscene and a thanks for playing. It appears there's a lot more to the demo.

I even had the difficulty on normal and on the last one I only played hard because I like the grind of just slaying hundreds of enemies but I actually like to battle. Normal is just a few slashes and they disappear.

I spent too much time on the first one. If it weren't for the backstory (which they present well) I wouldn't go down this rabbit hole again. I have too much goin on.

Demo is fun so far. If BOTW combat was a little more like this I probably would’ve enjoyed it.

79 on metacritic, hmmmm

This is the type of game that is dying for a stable 60fps. Need that switch pro already if only for better framerates and a native 1080p

Heads up, this is a musou game set in the Breath of the Wild universe. Completely different gameplay than BotW.
