but what about all the kids wgho hear it , think its cool, try it, and get indicted? They dont all have dads, or rich dads to put them on the right track like Jeezy son :jbhmm:
Those kids most likely already in that environment. You think Jeezy taught kids like that what dope is? Not the nikkas right there, in their neighborhood in the flyest car and with the flyest bytches?

Doggie Diamonds with some good points about (not JUST Jeezy) but so many rappers who glorify crimes that most of them HAVNET DONE & they definitely wouldn't want for their kids....So why promote it to the overall community and kids of others who dont have fathers like your son? :stopitslime:

Rap is rated R...

He has no responsibility to raise anyone kids but his own

Lil B is the only answer to this problem of having the freedom of rapping about whatever subject, while still being considered just entertainment

He gave rappers the blueprint, now it's up to them to follow

Spit whatever in the booth, be yourself outside of it, while not promoting degenerate behavior TYBG

oh ok. So it's the chicken or egg situation? which comes first is to blame?

Jeezy wasn't the chicken or egg in the situation, my generation was selling nick bags in 8th-9th grade and Im 1000% sure it was alot worse in the 90s and late 80s. The music reflects what's already going on.

I'm sure it was maybe a couple of spoiled lil nikkas who got everything they wanted in life and still wanted to portray that image cause of the TOD movement but stories like that are few and far between, and those kind of kids usually grow out of that shyt before they completely fukk their life up.

Pharrell told your sons "Young n1gga move that dope" and told Becky's kids to be "Happy"..

A lot of rappers are c00ns. This is nothing new..

False.

"Move That Doh" isn't even a Pharrell song and "Happy" got him a #1 on the R&B/Hip Hop charts too. And a lot of people outraged at his verse on "Move That Doh" had no problems singing along with his hooks on those Clipse albums.
