You do understand that when faces go against a Heel GM they do the same thing? Shane McMahon is a face GM, and the heels went against him.
That was the point. Ellsworth and Carmella are heels. They don't care about something being "historic" or "monumental" they cheat, they want to win. They need people to hate them...mission accomplished.
It's not the Super Bowl. All people involved don't need to see the "prestige" and "respect the game"....
Imagine there being a cruiserweight money in the bank, and Stephanie came on tv saying it'll be ground breaking and non stop action & excitement. We'd get Rey Mysterio & Eddy Guerrero video packages and such. Match happens and Titus & Apollo come in and beat the fukk out of all of the cruisers, and Titus grabbing the briefcase and handing it to Tozawa. Bullshyt, right? Or is it that "When i put the belt on myself, I had to then relinquish the belt like an arrogant new yawker, bro!" kinda heat? When you're establishing a new division (or reinventing an existing division), that's a terrible way to go

Don't feed the fans a bullshyt women revolution we are all about trying to have the women equal to the man and then have this type of finish then. That where most of the hate is coming from I don't even think people are mad Carmella won. They could have did the same ending and just had Carmella climb the ladder as Ellsworth held it.
I think people are mad one because a man won the match but also the fans feel cheated that WWE pull a fast one on them and it all goes back to how much they hyped up this match and this women revolution in general
Carmella and Ellsworth still would have gotten heat just for the fukkery of Ellsworth screwing Becky. Ellsworth got Becky back for her beating his ass awhile back. There has to be leading to a match or something between those two.
