He was pissed when they brought it up during his press conference today. He tried to spin his way out of it

one that had sustainable infrastructure and wasn't constantly being rebuilt due to storms and flooding
Tampa is a hot commodity area. you're not going to legally restrict the market from people wanting to live there on their own free will. this is impossible whether the state is red or blue. you know right when you buy your house that its fukked potentially. insurance tells you, HOA tell you.

some of yall seem to think the rest of America is immune to natural disasters. same shyt happens in Cali with wildfires, same shyt happens up North ocassionally whether its snow or hurricanes like Sandy. you assume all risk when you move somewhere. insurance is supposed to suggest to you.. floridians don't give af. yes Florida has some red state issues they gotta work on, but human responsibility has to come into play as well. most floridians do not want to pay higher taxes, they go for the tax benefits in fact. its all cause and effect

That’s not even the same.

Whether your house burns by wildfire or you left the stove on, the damage will be the same.

And there are things that can be done to migrate the damage even with climate change

The only way your house is under threat of looking like it’s floating on Lake Superior is because of where you built it. The reality is their aren’t many earthquake like building codes that will help simply because of the type soil type and Florida being a peninsula
