Where does that tunnel lead to?!:wtf:

It's just an underpass, it just goes under a road then back up. Right before getting trapped I was just in there (aka the first time I went thru some deep ass water) trying to find a way to the interstate. But the other three ways were blocked :martin:

Yes!!!

There was a fukkin escape route this entire time I was stuck there. I had to drive through the Harbor Park parking lot just to avoid the floods :mjlol:

The route to my house is still blocked off though, so I had to go to a hotel to finally rest. But this suite at the Marriott :blessed:

The sista at the front desk hooked me all the way up with a 50% discount after I told her my story This room bigger than my damn crib:why:

Damn . Smh. Hope it comes on soon for y'all .

@newworldafro

I heard some meteorologists say they should move away from using categories or create a new ranking system because it doesn't account for rain total per hour which was ridiculous with this storm ... in NC they said rainwater was accumulating at 2,3 inches per hour. This was a five, six hour event from a cat1(dropped midway through). Do the math .

I plan on being here until Tuesday. I just need at least one route to my house to clear up. The area around my house doesn't flood, just every way getting there does :francis:

I was lucky enough to get out of there, I told the old white couple who was in their car next to mine that I was just going to check out the flooding.

I escaped and didn't tell anyone there, I wasn't risking going back there :yeshrug:. Though I do feel stupid sitting there all that time and that there was a route through the damn Harbor Park parking lot right to Downtown Norfolk and I-264:snoop:

My my heart goes out to the folks who got their cars flooded out, they went through that so I wouldn't go through it... literally :huhldup:
