I am a nervous wreck from here. I have friends who opted to stay in mandatory evacuation areas and I am terrified they will be underwater. With little kids. It's a true worst-case-scenario for our loved ones in that area. It's gonna be massive areas of destruction.
What areas are these?
You shouldn't worry about them unless they're on the beach.
The home won't blow away and only the shore will have a substantial surge.
I remember back in the day we had some shyt that was waist deep. It's a good thing my mom's house was elevated, it didn't get inside the house
Daytona Beach area. We got the intracoastal waterway which doubles the exposure to water and storm surge. What areas are these?

I'm just hoping to hear that they're ok come Fri night/Sat morning.
They're all elderly
