It's supposed to hit Jamaica at cat 3....hopefully it's gonna downgrade to a 2.... but Jamaica is definitely in the path

Edit: I pray that it does little to no damage. I was there when power on the whole island went out.

The thing that worries me is that Matthew wasn't forecasted to be a Cat 4 yet here it is and may make a run at Cat 5 tonight.

Word, I went through Hurricane Ivan in 2004 and it was the worst storm I've ever encountered. Ironically, Ivan was in a similar spot that Matthew is in now, only difference is that Ivan went west of Jamaica and went into the Gulf, Matthew looks to go up through Jamaica, Haiti, Cuba, Bahamas, and potentially Florida and the East Coast, all depends on when the storm turns north as it's forecasted to.

I was in DR when Isaac was about to hit.....had to cut the trip across Hispaniola real short. The airlines canceled my flight and wouldn't rebook me until a month later.

This storm is going to cause turmoil on the tourism industry
